OK so today..

I was browsing my favorite web rag gossip site and I had the most fab idea that I am going to try, basically I'm going to duplicate an outfit, which I know is not very original but I so hardly have the time to do much of anything els. So I'll be posting a pic I think is uterly HOT for the day and attempting to recreate it in SL!! and tonight I'm going to try my hand at it for the first time.

Friday thoughts of a week gone by

I had the day off yesterday to take my son to the dentist and was back home relaxing by 2:30. It was the first free afternoon I have had in a long time and instead of logging into CoH(which I have done all of 1 time since reactivating my account, I instead spent a good amount of hours playing JoJo's fashion show and some other silly shockwave game. I didn't even feel to log into SL, there's times that if I don't have in my head exactly what I want to do in SL, I rather not log in at all. Now here it is Friday and I start my next semester tomorrow morning, so no more late night Friday hanging and no more late Saturday sleeping, but I'll survive. Wednesday night I did get to watch "I think I Love my Wife" with Chris Rock in SL, I was in complete awe that I actually got to sit through the WHOLE movie without SL blinking out on me or my ISP (which is crap) doing its famous 5 second disconnect. When I get home I do want to take some pics of my new lil home in SL, I purchased a really small plot and wanted to see how comfortable I could make it, I'm so through spending big time money in rent and fees for land in SL when I am hardly there for longer than 20 minutes at a time, so I think I did a really good job with the allotted prim count and size of it.

Today While Creating

So here I go again, starting another blog. This time I just want to do things my way, whether its about my online life or my real life. I just want someplace to share things I love and hate. Depending on the day I'm having it could be Second Life, RL, City of Heroes, Work, home, wherever. The title of the blog may throw you off but thats what I basically am, a girl who grew up in Brooklyn NY, Bed Stuy who embraced the online lifestyle. My family (being the African Americans who grew up in the ghetto that they are) cant even comprehend what it is that keeps me in front of the PC for hours, but I just feel like it's my free time, it could be spent watching TV but hell, there's like 10 shows I watch in total and I Tivo them all cause I hate commercials. Don't ask me why 3 days before I start my next semester of school that I'm starting this but I had some time and I think I need the outlet again. I'm thinking though, sometimes I have hours at work where I am literally doing NOTHING, so I may as well ramble my thoughts on keyboard, could be an outfit I put on in Second life that I loved or could be my non existent boss giving me a headache at work, could be a fabulous job I did on a new room in SL or could be something I got on sale at Macys during my once a week visit or could be me getting killed mercilessly by baddies in CoH. However the day takes me is what you will get. Now to finish making this blog pleasing to the eye, two more semesters and I should be able to HTML my way to a unique blog and not a prefab LOL.
